Facebook Advertising: 10 Marketing Ways for Success

By WPGeek in SEO

Social media has been the new advertisement pad of the recent generation. Aside from the fact that millions of people around the globe are using the Internet every second, the social media can now be also accessed through smaller communication devices such as mobile phones. The reality nowadays is that more and more people choose the World Wide Web as the source of information and knowledge than televisions, radios and newspapers. Thus, if you are a marketer and you want to succeed in this technologically advanced world, you must jive in with what’s trending. i am going to discuss Facebook Advertising tips to get more out from your money

One of the most effective and successful social media networks in terms of advertising is Facebook. It has been tested by numerous marketers (clothing brands, events firms) around the globe, and they have been triumphant with their business endeavors. However, for beginners, using Facebook to market a product or a service may not be smooth sailing. Sometimes, the marketer ends up broke.  This is because fresh marketers tend to commit mistakes.

To avoid the same mistakes, here are 10 ways to succeed in Facebook advertising.
Test Your Facebook Ads
There’s a price for it, but the potential results are far greater since it will be posted every time a Facebook user opens his or her account. Imagine the millions of net users who open their accounts every ounce of a second. However, sometimes, you will not get the same successful result. Why? One reason is that your chosen words are not effective. Here is one example:

Marketers A and B are both selling women’s clothes and apparels. They both want to accumulate “likes” for their fan page. They chose these words to attract Facebook users:

Marketer A: Are you a fan of fabulous dresses? Click “like” below if you love to wear fashionable clothing.

Marketer B: Do you like big discounts on clothing and apparel? Click “like” below if you want to wear Hollywood-ready dresses in low prices.

Who do you think will attract more “likes”? The answer is indefinite. The point is you have to test it: What’s more effective? What’s more attractive? Marketing is a bit of trial-and-error phenomenon. You will never know until you experience it first-hand. In the case above, there are two scenarios and several possible outcomes:

                                Disadvantage

MARKETER A                      FB users might overlook it since the words are too common.

MARKETER B                      Elite or higher classes (which are good prospects) might think it’s cheap to “like” this.

Advantage

MARKETER A                       It’s like asking for an opinion and this kind of system is trending in the World Wide Web    today. FB users who think of themselves as Fashionista might click the “like” because they don’t want to be left behind.

MARKETER B                       It’s like an invitation that if you click it you will enjoy some discounted prices. More people are attracted to this kind of stuff.

To sum it up, the main point here is to test which of the two works better for your particular campaign.
Select the Right Image
After you’ve chosen the right texts, you must find the perfect image. The image should be attractive and eye-catching. Some of the Facebook users are more visual. Sometimes, if they see a beautiful and attractive icon, they’ll just click on it.
Find the Right Interest Groups
After you’ve tested your ad, it’s time to find the interest groups. In marketing language, they are your target market—the ones you expect to “like” your page or eventually buy your products or avail your services. Of course, finding the interest groups depend on the products and services you offer. Who will most likely buy or avail your offerings? In the case above, Marketer A and B should look for Facebook groups centered on fashion or women stuff.

You should know by now that there are group accounts on Facebook. These groups are the ones you must test and find out as to which will most likely be avid in liking your page? After you’ve found the right group, you must do demographics within them. Try separating them by age or by gender. Narrowing them down will perfect your advertisements and consequently your target market.
Do Demography
Mentioned above is one important word in marketing: Demographic. It is fundamental in making your advertising and marketing easier.  You need to know who uses Facebook more frequently. According to international surveys, the fastest-growing demographic on Facebook today is adults aged 40 and above. However, in the eastern side of the world, the growing Facebook population is being dominated by teens. Most of these users are women. Having this information will guide you on what words to use and what image to choose.
Have a Landing Page
The common mistake of marketers is that their ads link directly to their sales page. This is not entirely right since it will immediately shoo away the users. Instead, you must have a “sandwich page” that will describe the topic in interesting details. Then put the link to your main landing page at the bottom of the sandwich page.
Use Popular Materials
To attract more Facebook users and be on the top list of Search Engines, you must post something popular on your page. It can be a hot topic or a viral video which is related to your business. Thus, if your chosen interest groups like these materials, eventually, they will engage into a live interaction with you.

Treat Your Net Visitors as Special Guests

Facebook advertisement is not like Search Engine advertising where people search for what they like. In Facebook, most people engage in trolling around each other’s pages. If you have net visitors in your page, treat them as your special guests. Do not abruptly tone a sales pitch. Go for freebies and pluses first before selling so that they will like you and eventually visit your page again. Remember that the main idea of Facebook is socializing so don’t go farther from this concept.

Have an Interesting Content

You must have the most quality information that will make your Facebook users more interested. It is better that your information has a viral effect. In this way, your Facebook advertisement will reach success faster than you can ever imagine.

 Post frequently

Those who “liked” your page will automatically receive updates from you. For them to be reminded about your offerings, you must post more frequently. It could be updates about your offerings or a new discount you are giving—something that will attract the Facebook users to visit your page again.

Monitor Your Ad Campaign

To know the status of your ad, you have to monitor your page’s click performance or the daily clicks from visitors. If you are seeing a decrease, then you must look for another target group. Another way is to update your ad to attract new users or re-attract previous ones.
